The Case for Four Hormones on One Strip

Whally's technical moat is framed around a multiplex cassette read by smartphone, not a collection of disconnected tests.

The Case for Four Hormones on One Strip

April 19, 2026 · 5 min read · Whally Team

The deck repeatedly emphasizes the multiplex challenge because it is the hardest part of the product thesis to replicate. Measuring four reproductive hormones on a single strip is more defensible than shipping a familiar single-analyte format with nicer branding.

The product promise is also operationally important. If one cassette can capture LH, FSH, E3G, and PdG, the user experience becomes easier and the app can reason across richer biological inputs.

That is what lets the company position itself as more than another strip brand. The strip and the app become one platform rather than two disconnected tools.
